Instructions
Right-click an object in Object Mode
Select Better Bend from the context menu
Open the Better Bend tab in the 3D Viewport sidebar (press N)

Release candidate!
Better Bend has been rewritten so lattices now act only as a visual guide and origin for deformations. The actual deformation is applied directly to the mesh and mirrored to the lattice. This makes the effect more accurate and closer to Cinema 4D–style deformers, without needing to worry about lattice resolution. The resolution controls are still available if you’d like to adjust the guide.
