Learn to Model, Unwrap, Texture, and Render a Custom Rifle with Horns in Blender, Rizom UV, Substance Painter, Marmoset.
What you’ll learn:
Students will learn how to create a detailed custom rifle, including sculpting high-poly details and optimizing a low-poly version for texturing
Participants will gain hands-on experience with the UDIM workflow in Rizom UV, learning how to efficiently create and manage UV tiles.
The course will cover advanced texturing techniques in Substance Painter, including applying and refining textures to achieve a polished, realistic look.
Students will learn how to set up and render their custom rifle using Marmoset Toolbag.
Requirements:
Blender: Familiarity with the interface, basic modeling tools, and navigation. Students should be comfortable creating and manipulating 3D objects.
Rizom UV: Understanding of basic UV unwrapping techniques and interface navigation.
Substance Painter: Basic skills in applying textures and understanding the software’s interface.
Marmoset Toolbag: Familiarity with the basics of rendering and setting up scenes.
A fundamental understanding of 3D modeling principles, including mesh creation, editing, and optimization. Prior experience with similar modeling projects will be beneficial.
Students must have access to Blender, Rizom UV, Substance Painter, and Marmoset Toolbag. Ensure that you have these programs installed and set up on your computer.
