Peregrine Labs Yeti 5.1.8 Maya 2023-2025 Win x64

The Peregrine Labs development team is pleased to announce the availability of Yeti 4.2.7, is node based tool for creating instanced feathers, fur, or hair within Autodesk Maya. This update include many new exciting features, updates and bugfixes.

Changes & Bug Fixes:

set a soft maximum for Yeti subdivisions to 2, with the option to override with YETI_MAX_SUBDIVISIONS. Please see Subdivision Surfaces for more information.

reverted to using max SSE4.2 vs AVX instructions for customer hardware compatibility reasons.

fixed a crash when setting PRef in the Attribute node.
